Y Type Strainer

Strainers come in several different styles based on the needs. Y Type Strainers are named after their shape and normally used for course filtration. By the use of large size of filtration area can be used with fine mesh also. Body of Y strainer is normally of Cast Iron (C.I.), Cast Carbon Steel (CS/WCB) or Stainless Steel (CF8/CF8M/CF3/CF3M/SS 304/SS 316/SS 304L/SS 316L) in various grades with flanged end, screwed end and socket weld end type end connection. Fabricated Y Type Strainers are also available on special request.

BHAVYA Fluid Controls offer bolted cover Y Type strainer have low pressure drop due to higher flow area through screen. Y Type Strainer is being used for the removal of foreign bodies in pipe line and use line trouble free service and freedom costly repairs or replacement for large area straining perforated screen lined with wire mesh can be used. Y Type Strainer improves the clearance in the medium, and prolongs the life of valves; protect expensive pumps, meters and other equipments. Series FYS31/32/33/34 & SYS41 Series Y Type Strainer is suitable for Liquid, Water, Air, Gas, Petroleum, Steam and other industrial fluids. BHAYVA bolted cover Y Type strainer have advanced dynamic flow path and large filtration area elements to ensure low pressure drops and reduced maintenance periods.

 BHAVYA Y Type Strainers are available in wide compatibility of body material, pressure ranges, end connection and mesh sizes to suit various industrial applications. Y Type Strainer has the advantage of being able to be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position. However, in both cases, the screening element must be on the downside of the strainer body so that entrapped solids particles can be properly collected. We also provide a Drain/Vent Connection at cover to remove solid particles without open the cover on request. BHAVYA Fluid Controls also manufacturing & exporting of P.T.F.E. Lined Y Type Strainer, Rubber Lined Y Type Strainer, Jacketed Y Type Strainer & Fabricated Y Type Strainer strainers on request.  A blow down plug on the drain port will allow clean-out without removal of the screen, and without disturbing the process flow, which providing on request.
