Started In 1975 As A Proprietary Concern By Dr. Gajanan G. Kamath In A Technician’S Shed, Primarily With A View To Manufacture And Supply Perfumery Grade Alcohol To Tata Oil Mills Ltd. Initially Began By Processing Jobs Of Purification Of Spent Solvents From Pharmaceutical Companies, Mainly Dimethyl Formamide From Boehringer Knoll, And In Course Of Time, Started Manufacture Of Intermediates E.G. Methyl Formate, Dimethyl Formamide, Dibutyl Ether And Phenyl Acetone For Bulk Drug Manufacturers. Incorporated Under The Companies Act In 1990, We Have Since Grown In Size And Capabilities. Currently Our Md & Ceo Is Mr. Rohit Kamath. He Is Qualified As An Organic Chemist From The Institute Of Science, Bombay And As A Technologist In Pharmaceuticals And Fine Chemicals From The Premier Institution Of Bombay University Department Of Chemical Technology. He Has Been Looking After The Company Since March 1980. Our Manufacturing Plants Are Located In Midc Industrial Area At New Mumbai. Land Area Is 4127sq. M.. Bulit-Up Area Is About 9000 Sq. Ft. At Present, We Have About 60 Employees In Our Factory Office, Which Includes All Managerial, Technical And Skilled And Unskilled Labour Our Clientele, For Both Contract Job-Work Or Direct Sales Mainly Include Bulk Drug Manufacturers, E.G. Cipla, Cadila Zydus Altana, Cadila Healthcare Ltd, Dr. Reddy’S Laboratory, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, Emcure Pharamceutical Ltd, Sa Pharmachm Ltd, Suyog Life Science, Apotex Pharma Chem Ltd, Etc. Companies Other Than Bulk Drug Manufacturers Include Nagarjuna Agrichem Ltd, Ar-Ex Chemie Con India, Gulbrandsen Chemicals, Neogen Chemicals Ltd, Sairam Organic P Ltd, Symbietic Chemicals, Etc. Our Dibutyl Ether Is Used By Many Cd R Manufacturers In The Country And Also Abroad. We Have Supplied The Same To Moser Baer (India) And To Other Smaller Cd R Manufacturers. Overseas Companies Buying Our Dibutyl Ether Are In Malaysia, Singapore And Iran. We Have Exported Our Products Directly To Usa, Turkey, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Switzerland Etc. We Have Also Exported Our Products Through Merchant Exporters E.G. Transpek Marketing , Baroda, Euresian, Mumbai. We Are Members Of Chemexcil, Thane Belapur Industries Association, The Indian Merchants’ Chamber. Our Company Holds All Requisite Licenses And Clearances From Government Bodies E.G. Pollution Board, Narcotics, Excise, And Vat Etc. We Are Included In The United Nations‘ List Of Official Manufacturers Narcotics Precursor Chemicals For Our Product Phenyl Acetone (Phenyl –2- Propanone) Recently, We Have Purchased Our Neighboring Plots C-159 (1400 Sq Mtr) And W-7 (920 Sq Mtrs). We Have Already Started Manufacturing Activity At C-159.
